Summary
Well that was a blast.
April is the busiest month for cycling in Mallorca. We were lucky as it wasn’t great weather before we arrived and since our return. This means bike hire and accommodation might be more difficult to organise – get in early.
Unlike most riders where they pay an organisation to arrange flights, accommodation, bike hire etc and are happy to do single day rides on lightweight bikes trying to bag Strava segments on the way, we organised everything ourselves but, staying in different locations each night and lugging our suitcases (panniers) with us up all the big hills.
There were so many things which could have gone wrong but luckily they didn’t with only a slow puncture on our last day.
Already looking to organise next year’s trip and stopping in different refuges next time.
